The Olive Hill Fire Brick Company was located in Olive Hill, Kentucky along the Midland Trail and was constructed in 1895.1 The plant included the completion of the Burnt-House mine which contained pure fire flay that contained 27-feet thick seams. The factory underwent production and facility upgrades in the 1940s and closed in the late 1970s.
